A quick post today to highlight the first day that the Palouse Grown Market is officially open! This market offers the convenient option of placing an order for your local food (and other products), paying for it online and then just picking up your consolidated box at the Tuesday growers market now being held at the 1912 building in downtown Moscow. There are some really great choices from lots of local vendors on the site including everything from meat, to greens, flowers and even jewelry! Great work Holly in getting this great connection to local food up and going!
Lots of other fun local food events are really picking up for the season- like the Pullman Farmer’s Market happening tonight which will include the first CSA distribution from the WSU Organic Farm!
